Polycarp Igathe is a well-known politician, philanthropist, businessman, and leader in Kenya. He is a member of the Equity Executive team, which Equity Group Holdings Plc made public on March 16, 2020. He reports to the CEO. On September 21, 1972, he was born in Kenya. He is  49 years of age.
The most recent role held by Polycarp Igathe was vice president of sales and marketing at Vivo Energy Africa. Prior to that, from May 2018 to September 2018, he served as the Chief Commercial Officer of Equity Bank Kenya before being elevated to the position of Managing director. He was fortunate to land a job in Australia after finishing his education. After a year and a half there, he returned to his hometown of Kenya and began working for Coca-Cola, where he stayed until 2000.
He was later promoted to Africa Online’s sales and marketing manager. After a while, he went to work for Kenya Breweries Limited, first as a sales operations manager and later as a marketing manager.
He was then promoted to regional managing director for East Africa at the company “Haco Tiger Brands,” where he had previously worked. Polycarp Igathe worked for Haco for a decade before moving on to his current position at VIVO Energy.
After Mutahi Kahiga of Nyeri, he is the country’s second Deputy Governor with the shortest tenure.

Polycarp Igathe previously stated this in an interview. “Kenyans believe that if you work diligently for a long time in a firm controlled by someone else, you can only be their son,” he said.
